This fabulous collection of Anne Kirkpatricks early work in a special CD pack contains Kirkpatricks first 5 complete studio albums released between 1974 and 1987.

Six time CMAA Golden Guitar Award winner and ARIA Award winner for Best Australian Country Recording, Anne Kirkpatrick is a true veteran in the Australian country music scene!

"Emerging from within the First Family of Australian country music to claim her own identity and her own following, Anne paved the way for a broader grasp of the varied components that make up the gestalt that is contemporary Australian country music, Glenn A Baker.

Unearthed from the EMI archives, the albums were originally released on vinyl but have been unavailable as complete albums for many years now. Each album has been digitally remastered by Australia's much revered mastering engineer Don Bartley from Benchmark Mastering.

"A lot of great early albums languish in the archives and run the risk of being misplaced or lost in company takeovers and moves, reflects Bartley. So it was a pleasure to restore/digitally remaster these albums of Annes, particularly considering my long association with the Slim Dusty family's recordings".

In addition to the physical release of the 5CD set, each of the albums will be released individually through all digital retailers for the first time in March 2015.

The 5 CDs featured in the set include:

Down Home (1974) Anne's first solo album. Produced by the late and great Peter Dawkins. Released while she was on the road with the Slim Dusty Show and features some very distinctive family harmonies from parents Slim Dusty and Joy McKean, plus some great acoustic playing from Colin Watson on guitar and Paul and Colleen Trenwith (banjo and fiddle).

Let The Songs Keep Flowing Strong and Naturally (1976) Produced by Slim Dustys long-time producer Rod Coe. Features some great cameo playing (Hawaiian steel, dobro, mandolin) from Kerryn Tolhurst (Dingoes) and singing from Doug Ashdown, Russell Hitchcock (Air Supply) and a host of musicians that would later form the basis of Anne's live touring band.

Shoot The Moon (1978) Also produced by Rod Coe, this was essentially an Anne Kirkpatrick Band album as it featured Anne's highly respected full time touring band. The track Grievous Angel won Anne her 1st Golden Guitar Award at Tamworth.

Annies Songs (1980) A compilation album with a bonus of 2 new studio tracks produced by Dave Maratt plus a live version of the classic Patsy Cline track ,Crazy, recorded at the Opera House.

Come Back Again (1987) Covering the Daddy Cool classic as the title track, this is the first collaborative effort with respected producer Mark Moffatt. It features the fine fiddle playing of the late Wayne Goodwin. Mark went on to also produce Annes multi-award winning Out of The Blue album just a few years later.
