Hailing from Brisbane, The Comfort was born of a simple idea; to explore the concepts of things that bring comfort to uncomfortable lives.

Falling between the post-hardcore world of bands like Thrice and Circa Survive, and the more ethereal rock styling of Coldplay and PVRIS, the band have already made their make on the alternative scene with their debut EP Love garnishing over a million streams, and the lead singles video edging close to one million views.

They have recently announced their debut album What It Is To Be via Greyscale Records.

When discussing the lyrical content, The Comforts Liam Holmes says the album is an attempt to showcase the human experience and make sense of who and what we are. No one feels the exact same emotion every day for their entire lives, thats not who we are as people, and as weve said plenty of times before, we write music based on what were feeling not based on a genre. We tried to fit as many different things weve felt and experienced on this album, because if theres one thing to take away it is that no matter what you feel you are never alone.

Most orders are dispatched via Australia Post and Toll. Orders are delivered typically within business hours only. Please allow 1-2 days for handling and 1 to 9 business days for delivery, depending on your selected shipping service. If you have not received your parcel within this time, please get in touch with us and we will open an enquiry for you. 
It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery address is provided. Express Shipping is available. Please allow 1 day for handling and 2 to 2 working days for delivery, or longer for remote areas. Music2u will not replace any lost or delayed Australia Post items if the Economy Shipping option is selected at checkout. 
Our Shipping Options Include:
  • Untracked Shipping is an untracked shipping option offered through Australia post. No tracking number is provided with this service. Please allow 4-9 business delays for delivery of your order. 

  • Standard Shipping is a fully tracked service offered through Australia Post/Toll. A tracking number will is provided once your order is shipped. Please allow 2-6 business days for delivery of your order. 

  • Express Shipping is a fully tracked Express Service offered through Australia Post/Toll Priority.  A tracking number will is provided once your order is shipped. Please allow 1-3 business days for delivery of your order. 

Tracking Your Order

You will automatically receive your tracking information via the email you provided in the checkout as a tracking link. You can see the status of your parcel's journey there. If your parcel is taking longer than expected, let us know so we can locate your order. If selecting Economy Shipping, you will receive an email confirmation to notify you that your order has been shipped from our warehouse. You will not receive a tracking number for this service. 

Pre Orders

Please note that all 'single' pre-order books that arrive back in stock will ship via the standard Australia Post untracked service. The items that are in-stock will ship via your selected method at checkout, pre-orders will ship un-tracked when they arrive as to not incur an additional shipping fee.
