Crafted with an almost entirely ABS plastic body and a walnut plywood top, the TUS50 offers a blend of durability and superb sound projection. Unlike traditional wooden ukuleles, the ABS construction ensures resistance to humidity changes, making it a reliable choice for players on the go.

Thanks to its wider arched ABS back, this soprano ukulele boasts enhanced volume in the middle range, creating a brighter and resonant tone. The absence of binding between the body and neck, both made from sturdy plastic, guarantees that this ukulele will stand the test of time.

The TUS50 features a laminate walnut soundboard, a wood known for its malleability and beauty. Walnut's denseness and stiffness result in a bright and vibrant tone, reminiscent of Koa wood. The open grain pattern adds a unique midrange presence that sits between Rosewood and Mahogany, and its striking appearance is complemented by our hand-drawn Salamander design.

Constructed with ABS plastic, the neck and fingerboard offer stability, regardless of weather conditions, ensuring you'll never have to deal with sharp frets or a bent neck. The wood-like pattern on the neck surface eliminates the feel of cheap plastic, providing a comfortable playing experience.

The zero fret design, paired with a unique bridge construction, maintains low string action and spot-on intonation. With plastic that doesn't warp, you won't need to perform additional work on the saddle.

Our signature headstock design features a walnut veneer that matches the soundboard. The geared tuners keep your ukulele perfectly in tune, and it's all part of our commitment to quality and performance.

To complete the package, we've included a stylish gig bag to protect your ukulele during your travels. The Flight start-up booklet comes with all the essential information you need, including chord charts and strumming patterns, to kickstart your ukulele journey.

Our travel ukuleles use a zero fret and adjustable saddle, which keeps the string action low and intonation on point. Since a plastic will not react to weather conditions like a wood ukulele, you will should never have to deal with any future saddle adjustments.

The Flight Travel Ukuleles have a rounded back, which can make them more difficult to hold for some players.  We added a single strap button to the travel series to make them easier to hold.  We offer a selection of Flight Ukulele Straps which would make a great accessory for your ukulele!

Headstock design is an integral part of our identity. The headstock veneer is made of laminate acacia and matches the sound board of the ukulele. All Flight ukuleles feature a carefully-designed headstock fitted with geared tuners that will always hold their tuning (once tuned).

Every Flight ukulele includes a gig bag.  While the Travel Series does not need a lot of protection, a gig bag protects the strings and makes the ukulele easier to carry.

Every Flight ukulele includes a beginner’s guide and a set of stickers from Flight Ukulele.  The eight-page beginner’s guide is packed with all the information you need to start playing, including chord charts, strumming patterns, and chord progressions for your first drills.
