JC Bach - Concerto C Minor For Viola with Piano Accompaniment Book

The 'Concerto in C Minor' was first published in 1947 by Mica Salabert, with Henri Casadesus passionately involved in early instruments, including the viola d’amore. His interest is reflected in his manual titled 'Technique de la viole d’amour'. The first edition features the so-called “original” part for solo violoncello alongside a score that Casadesus adapted for viola, cello, or violin.

However, musicological research has revealed that the “original” version for violoncello cannot be attributed to Johann Christian Bach. Instead, it appears to be a composition that imitates his style, written two centuries later. Despite this, the 'Concerto in C Minor' has enjoyed considerable success and remains a popular choice among both violinists and cellists today.

This edition includes 40 pages of well-structured music, making it an excellent resource for performers looking to explore this intriguing work and its stylistic nuances.

  • Express Shipping is a fully tracked Express Service offered through Australia Post/Toll Priority.  A tracking number will is provided once your order is shipped. Please allow 1-3 business days for delivery of your order. 

Tracking Your Order

You will automatically receive your tracking information via the email you provided in the checkout as a tracking link. You can see the status of your parcel's journey there. If your parcel is taking longer than expected, let us know so we can locate your order. If selecting Economy Shipping, you will receive an email confirmation to notify you that your order has been shipped from our warehouse. You will not receive a tracking number for this service. 

Pre Orders

The items that are in-stock will ship via your selected method at checkout, pre-orders will ship un-tracked when they arrive as to not incur an additional shipping fee.
