This book presents a collection of 124 tunes arranged for the hammered dulcimer and other "C" melody instruments including recorder, penny whistle, fiddle, mandolin, and guitar. The music is transcribed from the playing of Maggie Sansone, America's premier hammered dulcimer player and teacher specializing in Celtic music - from six of her most popular recordings: Traditions, Mist and Stone, Dance Upon the Shore, A Traveler's Dream, Mystic Dance and Merrily Greet the Time. Written in standard notation with suggested accompaniment chords, all of the tunes and arrangements can be played easily on the 12/11 hammered dulcimer as well as on larger extended-range models. The music and arrangements cover several levels from experienced beginner to advanced performer; many of the tunes are presented as a simple melody line with chords while others are transcribed with fuller arrangements and optional variations. This stunning collection will thrill both students of the hammered dulcimer and Celtic music lovers in general, offering valuable insight to Maggie Sansone's playing and arranging style.

Most orders are dispatched via Australia Post and Toll. Orders are delivered typically within business hours only. Please allow 1-2 days for handling and 1 to 9 business days for delivery, depending on your selected shipping service. If you have not received your parcel within this time, please get in touch with us and we will open an enquiry for you. 
It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery address is provided. Express Shipping is available. Please allow 1 day for handling and 2 to 2 working days for delivery, or longer for remote areas. Music2u will not replace any lost or delayed Australia Post items if the Economy Shipping option is selected at checkout. 
Our Shipping Options Include:
  • Untracked Shipping is an untracked shipping option offered through Australia post. No tracking number is provided with this service. Please allow 4-9 business delays for delivery of your order. 

  • Standard Shipping is a fully tracked service offered through Australia Post/Toll. A tracking number will is provided once your order is shipped. Please allow 2-6 business days for delivery of your order. 

  • Express Shipping is a fully tracked Express Service offered through Australia Post/Toll Priority.  A tracking number will is provided once your order is shipped. Please allow 1-3 business days for delivery of your order. 

Tracking Your Order

You will automatically receive your tracking information via the email you provided in the checkout as a tracking link. You can see the status of your parcel's journey there. If your parcel is taking longer than expected, let us know so we can locate your order. If selecting Economy Shipping, you will receive an email confirmation to notify you that your order has been shipped from our warehouse. You will not receive a tracking number for this service. 

Pre Orders

Please note that all 'single' pre-order books that arrive back in stock will ship via the standard Australia Post untracked service. The items that are in-stock will ship via your selected method at checkout, pre-orders will ship un-tracked when they arrive as to not incur an additional shipping fee.
