20 Concert Pieces for Intermediate Violin with Illustrations and Audio Backing Tracks

"Possums at Sea" offers a delightful blend of music and storytelling for intermediate violinists. In this sequel to "Possums in the Roof," young players embark on a musical adventure at sea, with each chapter introducing new technical skills in a fun and engaging way. Through 20 concert pieces presented as an illustrated storybook, students explore a variety of musical styles, from Elizabethan Dances to Sea Shanties and Irish Reels.

The book not only serves as a musical journey but also as a structured learning tool, incorporating treasure maps to introduce notes and fingerings, navigation charts for scales and arpeggios, and audio backing tracks to enhance practice sessions and develop musicianship.

With its progressive approach to chromatic fingering and bowing techniques, "Possums at Sea" is an invaluable resource for violinists at the Preliminary to Grade One examination levels.
