A Blend of Vintage Charm and Modern Reliability with the Iconic Sound of the 60s'
Free Fast Shipping on this Item ✈️
The Levinson Sceptre Ventana Standard in Sea Foam Green is more than just a guitar—it's a tribute to the artistic spirit inspired by the rugged beauty of Ventana, a place that has drawn visionaries like Orson Welles and Jack Kerouac for decades. The Ventana Series captures this creative essence, delivering the classic sound of the '60s in a sleek, modern package.
Built with an Okoume body, the Ventana Standard offers that coveted vintage tone, while the North American hard maple neck and maple fingerboard provide a smooth, responsive playing experience. With a 240mm/9.5” radius and a real bone nut, this guitar is designed for comfort and precision.
The three calibrated Levinson S-E1 single-coil pickups, equipped with ALNICO 5 magnets, deliver a classic tone with a sharp, defined top end that cuts through any mix. The custom 50mm magnet spacing on the neck pickup ensures balanced string response, while the reverse-wound/reverse-poled middle pickup provides noiseless operation in positions 2 and 4.
For performance reliability, the Ventana Standard features a Wilkinson WOV 02 tremolo and die-cast machine heads, offering smooth tuning stability that meets the demands of today’s musicians.
The Sceptre Ventana Standard isn’t just a guitar; it’s a modern classic that blends vintage charm with the reliability and features you need for contemporary music. Whether you’re on stage or in the studio, this instrument will inspire your creativity and elevate your sound.

THE ORIGIN OF LEVINSON SCEPTRE
It’s been over 50 years sinceGary Levinsonstarted building and repairing guitars. He has had the honour of building instruments for some of the world’s greatest guitarists over this expanse of time. During the late 60’sGary was part of a small but exclusive repair shop in Champaign, Illinois. He met many of the music icons of the 60’s and 70’s when they came to play at the University of Illinois, and did work for everyone from theGrateful DeadtoCat Stevens.
At the University of Illinois,Gary Levinson studied applied and natural sciences and continued this when he came to Basel Switzerland in 1971. The creation of tone is a wonderful science - part Physics and part magic. DuringGary'sgraduate studies at the University of Basel, he continued guitar work and foundedGuitars by Levinsonin Basel, Switzerland in 1977. This is history and has been a part of theBlade Guitarsstory over the years.
Sceptre Guitarsis the result of using his experience of these 50 years to create a line of instruments of impeccable build integrity with exceptional playability and great tone. All instruments utilise excellent raw materials, top hardware andGary'snew line ofLevinson custom wound pickups.
You owe it to yourself as a musician to experience these instruments.
