The "Matilda - The Musical" CD is a soundtrack featuring music and lyrics by Tim Minchin for the hit stage adaptation of Roald Dahl's beloved children's novel, "Matilda." Originally released in 2010, the CD format includes all of the show's catchy and energetic songs, showcasing the incredible vocal talents of its cast.

One interesting fact about the album is that it was awarded the prestigious Olivier Award for Best New Musical in 2012, solidifying its status as a must-see live show for theater-goers.

In an interview, composer Tim Minchin spoke about the challenge of adapting Dahl's classic story: "It's been a long, hard, intense journey, but ultimately, it's been an incredibly satisfying one. I think we've created something really special with 'Matilda - The Musical' and I'm thrilled that audiences around the world have responded so positively to it."

It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery address is provided. Express Shipping is available. Please allow 1 day for handling and 2 to 2 working days for delivery, or longer for remote areas. Music2u will not replace any lost or delayed Australia Post items if the Economy Shipping option is selected at checkout. 
Our Shipping Options Include:
  • Untracked Shipping is an untracked shipping option offered through Australia post. No tracking number is provided with this service. Please allow 4-9 business delays for delivery of your order. 

  • Standard Shipping is a fully tracked service offered through Australia Post/Toll. A tracking number will is provided once your order is shipped. Please allow 2-6 business days for delivery of your order. 

  • Express Shipping is a fully tracked Express Service offered through Australia Post/Toll Priority.  A tracking number will is provided once your order is shipped. Please allow 1-3 business days for delivery of your order. 

Tracking Your Order

You will automatically receive your tracking information via the email you provided in the checkout as a tracking link. You can see the status of your parcel's journey there. If your parcel is taking longer than expected, let us know so we can locate your order. If selecting Economy Shipping, you will receive an email confirmation to notify you that your order has been shipped from our warehouse. You will not receive a tracking number for this service. 

Pre Orders

Please note that all 'single' pre-order books that arrive back in stock will ship via the standard Australia Post untracked service. The items that are in-stock will ship via your selected method at checkout, pre-orders will ship un-tracked when they arrive as to not incur an additional shipping fee.
