The Small Yamaha Brass Mouthpiece Swab is a premium cleaning accessory designed for brass instruments; Trumpets, Cornets, Flugelhorns, French Horns, Mellophones, Alto(Tenor) Horns, and Alto Trombones.

Crafted in Japan with meticulous attention to detail, it features heavy-duty reinforced stitching and ultra-absorbent microfibre fabric, making it highly effective in removing moisture and grime from instrument interiors.

Its specially designed shape ensures optimal contact with the instrument's surfaces while a nylon feeder cord prevents any damage. This swab is a must-have for musicians seeking to maintain their brass instruments in pristine playing condition.

These swabs are constructed with the utmost care and attention to detail at our factory in Japan. Heavy-duty reinforced stitching combines with high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship to produce a finished product that's worthy to use on the finest musical instruments.

    Ultra-absorbent microfibre:

    Microfibre is a synthetic fabric that's extremely absorbent, strong and lint-free. The unique shape of the threads allows microfibre to trap moisture and grime much more effectively than traditional fabrics like cotton or wool, making microfibre the superior choice for cleaning.

      Maximum contact:

      The specially designed shape gives this swab maximum contact with the inside of the instrument. This keeps more of the swab touching metal for the best possible cleaning effect while minimising the chance of getting stuck around tight bends.

        Nylon feeder cord:

        The feeder cord is made completely from nylon so that your instrument won't be scratched or damaged, inside or out.

          Directions For Use:

            1. Before insertion into mouthpiece, completely straighten the swab.

              2. Insert the nylon guide into the end of the mouthpiece (in either direction) until the nylon guide protrudes from the opposite end.

                3. Gently pull the nylon guide until the end of the cloth emerges. Do not force the swab through until the taped tip comes out of the end of the mouthpiece.

                  4. Holding the taped tip, pull the remainder of the cloth through the end of the mouthpiece. Effective cleaning can be performed by stopping the cloth halfway through the mouthpiece and moving it back and forth in the mouthpiece. Do not force the swab through until the taped tip comes out of the end of the mouthpiece.

                    Additional Notes

                    • If the swab is stored in cloth contact with your instrument, case, etc., the colour may run. This is dependent on storage location, storage conditions, temperature and/or humidity, etc.
                    • Please be aware that hardened dirt and grit on the cloth and string may cause scratches to your instrument body.
                    • Wash with lukewarm water below 40℃ , or with water by hand.
                    • Large amounts of detergent may cause the cloth dye to run on rare occasions.
                    • The swab can be ironed at low temperatures.

                    Most orders are dispatched via Australia Post and Toll. Orders are delivered typically within business hours only. Please allow 1-2 days for handling and 1 to 9 business days for delivery, depending on your selected shipping service. If you have not received your parcel within this time, please get in touch with us and we will open an enquiry for you. 
                    It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery address is provided. Express Shipping is available. Please allow 1 day for handling and 2 to 2 working days for delivery, or longer for remote areas. Music2u will not replace any lost or delayed Australia Post items if the Economy Shipping option is selected at checkout. 
                    Our Shipping Options Include:
                    • Untracked Shipping is an untracked shipping option offered through Australia post. No tracking number is provided with this service. Please allow 4-9 business delays for delivery of your order. 

                    • Standard Shipping is a fully tracked service offered through Australia Post/Toll. A tracking number will is provided once your order is shipped. Please allow 2-6 business days for delivery of your order. 

                    • Express Shipping is a fully tracked Express Service offered through Australia Post/Toll Priority.  A tracking number will is provided once your order is shipped. Please allow 1-3 business days for delivery of your order. 

                    Tracking Your Order

                    You will automatically receive your tracking information via the email you provided in the checkout as a tracking link. You can see the status of your parcel's journey there. If your parcel is taking longer than expected, let us know so we can locate your order. If selecting Economy Shipping, you will receive an email confirmation to notify you that your order has been shipped from our warehouse. You will not receive a tracking number for this service. 

                    Pre Orders

                    Please note that all 'single' pre-order books that arrive back in stock will ship via the standard Australia Post untracked service. The items that are in-stock will ship via your selected method at checkout, pre-orders will ship un-tracked when they arrive as to not incur an additional shipping fee.
