The music book product, Saint-Saens - Suite D Minor Op 16 Cello/Piano, is a compilation of solo works for the violoncello written by Camille Saint-Saens. It includes his Concerto No. 1 in A minor, Op. 33, a second concerto, two sonatas, the 'Swan' from 'The Carnival of the Animals', and the 'Suite with Piano Accompaniment' Op. 16. The suite, which premiered on 27 April 1866, is influenced by the composer's study of traditional Baroque suite form, combined with a Romantic tonal language. There is also an orchestral version of the suite, which was presented in 1919 and features changes to movements 3, 5, and the ending of the fourth movement. The suite consists of five movements, starting with a Bach-inspired prelude, followed by a pleasant serenade, a stylized gavotte, a sentimental romance, and concluding with a passionate tarantella. This melodic and enthusiastic suite is a valuable addition to the cello repertoire, suitable for both instructional and performance purposes.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery address is provided. Express Shipping is available. Please allow 1 day for handling and 2 to 2 working days for delivery, or longer for remote areas. Music2u will not replace any lost or delayed Australia Post items if the Economy Shipping option is selected at checkout.

  • Untracked Shipping is an untracked shipping option offered through Australia post. No tracking number is provided with this service. Please allow 4-9 business delays for delivery of your order. 

  • Standard Shipping is a fully tracked service offered through Australia Post/Toll. A tracking number will is provided once your order is shipped. Please allow 2-6 business days for delivery of your order. 

  • Express Shipping is a fully tracked Express Service offered through Australia Post/Toll Priority.  A tracking number will is provided once your order is shipped. Please allow 1-3 business days for delivery of your order. 

Tracking Your Order

You will automatically receive your tracking information via the email you provided in the checkout as a tracking link. You can see the status of your parcel's journey there. If your parcel is taking longer than expected, let us know so we can locate your order. If selecting Economy Shipping, you will receive an email confirmation to notify you that your order has been shipped from our warehouse. You will not receive a tracking number for this service. 

Pre Orders

Please note that all 'single' pre-order books that arrive back in stock will ship via the standard Australia Post untracked service. The items that are in-stock will ship via your selected method at checkout, pre-orders will ship un-tracked when they arrive as to not incur an additional shipping fee.
